STUDIOPEPE

THE STUDIO

Studiopepe is a design and architecture agency founded in Milan in 2006, by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto.
Studiopepe’s focus is on research through the use of a multidisciplinary approach: this includes interior design, product design, and creative consultancy.
The language they use for their projects is stratified, it combines poetic vision with a strong iconographic identity.
Studiopepe deals with international commissioned projects as retail, hotels and private commissions with a team of 15 professionals among architects, interior designers and product designers.
Studiopepe’s vision is based upon experimenting, continuous research on colors and materials and the contamination with the contemporary language of art.
Installations, study of formal archetypes, experiments with materials and the dialogue between opposites are some of the themes developed by the Studio.

ARIANNA LELLI MAMI

With a degree in Design from the Polytechnic University of Milan, Arianna Lelli Mami has always been fascinated by the multiple dynamics in which people live and inhabit spaces. She looks at design from a point of view that is free from conceptual constraints and rigidity. Passionate about art, Arianna collects objets trouvés that she reinterprets through the creation of small installations that often become sources of inspiration for the agency’s projects.

CHIARA DI PINTO

After completing her academic studies in Fine Arts, Chiara Di Pinto earned a degree in Design from Polytechnic University of Milan. Then, in 1996, she brought to life a series of collaborations as an interior stylist for several Italian and international publications. Her path is a reflection of her strong interest in materials, shapes and colors; and her approach to design and passion or research are spontaneous and all-encompassing.

Philosophy

The collection is inspired by the purity and strength of visual black ink designs. A quick and spontaneous gesture that is born from deep awareness, as the great Japanese master calligraphers have taught us. White and black are opposites that complete and permeate each other to create a beautiful balance.
